Jobber Expands Executive Leadership Team to Guide Company through High Growth Phase

Company appoints Shawn Cadeau, Chief Revenue Officer, and Sara Cooper, Vice President of People

TORONTO, July 2, 2019Jobber, a provider of home services management software, today announced the addition of two new members to its executive team to help guide the organization through its phase of rapid expansion. Shawn Cadeau, Jobber’s newly appointed Chief Revenue Officer, brings C-level experience from Vena Solutions, FreshBooks and Corel, while Sara Cooper, Vice President of People, previously served in key roles at OMERS Ventures, FreshBooks and Microsoft Canada. Each will leverage their years of industry expertise to further the company’s customer-centric approach to developing the ultimate Software-as-a-Service platform to power small home service companies.

“We’re excited to have Shawn and Sara join us at such a pivotal time,” said Sam Pillar, CEO & co-founder, Jobber. “Shawn brings an impressive track-record of guiding organizational expansion, which will be essential as we continue to surface the untapped potential of the global home services market that currently relies on pen-and-paper for essential business operations. We are scaling rapidly, and with Sara’s experience in recruitment, people management, and culture-development — coupled with the company’s commitment to employee performance, skill development, and growth — we are well positioned to create one of the most desirable places to work in the industry.”

Jobber is used in more than 40 countries around the world. Businesses using the company’s award-winning app provide more than $6 billion annually in services to customers. Jobber’s intuitive app is used to organize and simply operations in more than 50 different home service industries, including HVAC, plumbing, electricians, cleaning, lawncare and more. The company continues to grow at an impressive rate and over the past 12 months increased its workforce by 70 percent.

“I joined Jobber because I recognized the enormous opportunity its product offers to the five million small home service businesses in North America,” said Cadeau. “The potential for meaningful disruption in this marketplace is huge. But the decision to join Jobber goes beyond supporting these hard-working professionals. It’s about working with talented individuals who all buy into Jobber’s culture of humility, supportiveness, and passion—values that very much align with my own. Together, we have the potential to take this company to great heights.”

“Jobber’s ambition to be a global tech company on par with Shopify, and the market opportunity to actually do it, is one of the many things that drew me to the company,” said Cooper. “In order to do that we will have to continue our focus on developing the skills and careers of our current team as well as add new top talent across all parts of the business from operations, sales and marketing, software development and product management.”
