We did again! Software Advice and Gartner Give Jobber Highest 2017 FrontRunners Score

December 05, 2017, Edmonton, Alberta – Canadian software company Jobber has once again been identified as a top-ranked field service software product in SoftwareAdvice.com’s prestigious “FrontRunners for Field Service” evaluation for 2017. Jobber received the highest combined score for value and capability for the second consecutive quarter, finishing ahead of over 200 software products for field service businesses.

Powered by Gartner Methodology, the biannual independent, data-driven assessment of field service software companies is designed to help small service businesses evaluate which software tool is best for their business. SoftwareAdvice presents the rankings for field service management software in its iconic quadrant format, and scores products based on the Capabilities and Value they deliver to their customers. Jobber’s scores of 4.43 for Value and 4.15 for Capability combined to rank it in the top right section of the quadrant.

To be considered in the Frontrunners report, products must have at least 20 reviews and meet minimum user rating scores of 3.0 for both Value and Capability. They also have to offer a core set of functionality: e.g., work order management, scheduling and dispatching, and billing and invoicing.

Sam Pillar, CEO of Jobber, says the SoftwareAdvice FrontRunners evaluation “is essential to anyone running a service business. The fact that the quadrant ranks both user reviews and an in-depth analysis of a product’s capabilities and the value it delivers provides customers with the data they need to make an informed decision about what software is right for them. The entire Jobber organization is driven by our mission to help small businesses succeed, and knowing that real customer reviews help put us in the top right of the Leaders Quadrant for a second quarter in a row is something we take very seriously.”

Jobber has announced a number of key feature advancements over the past quarter that have helped continuously move the company up in the quadrant. These include an improved mobile scheduling workflow, faster mechanisms for collecting client signatures in the field, and a simplified, clear pricing model that underscores the value of Jobber for customers of all sizes.

“We can’t and won’t rest on our laurels,” said Pillar. “Our industry is constantly evolving, and small businesses continue to be a focal point of economic growth in North America. Making sure our product continues to help these businesses succeed, and being named in SoftwareAdvice’s FrontRunners report, is proof positive that we are continuing to deliver on our promise to our customers.”
