Jobber Recognized as a 2020 Best Workplaces™ for Inclusion by Great Place to Work ®

TORONTO – January 21, 2020 – Jobber, the leading provider of home service management software, announced that it has been named a 2020 Best Workplaces™ for Inclusion. This latest award further recognizes the transparent, inclusive, and collaborative culture that Jobber has built for its employees.

“We’re dedicated to creating an environment of appreciation and belonging, and one that encourages diversity of thought,” says Sam Pillar, CEO and co-founder of Jobber. “It’s our responsibility to make sure that our people always feel safe, respected, and welcomed at work. We take great pride in making Jobber a great place to work for all employees, and our commitment to inclusivity is a big part of that.”

Jobber’s award-winning platform enables home service businesses, such as lawn care professionals, HVAC technicians, painters, residential cleaners, and more, to simplify day-to-day operations and grow. To ensure that every employee is equipped to deliver on Jobber’s mission, the company focuses on fostering a positive work environment that embraces everyone’s differences, including their personal beliefs, experiences, age, gender, and cultural backgrounds.

“We are delighted to be recognized by our people for promoting an inclusive culture,” says Sara Cooper, VP of People at Jobber. “Our employees are crucial to achieving Jobber’s overall mission. At Jobber, we believe in equal opportunity and providing the right resources for our people to grow professionally and advance their careers.”

Jobber received this honor after a thorough and independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work®.  The list of Best Workplaces for Inclusion is based on direct feedback from employees of the hundreds of organizations that were surveyed by Great Place to Work®. The data has a 90% confidence and a plus or minus 5% margin of error.

To be eligible for this list, organizations must be Great Place to Work Certified in the past year and at least 90% of employees must agree they are treated fairly, regardless of personal characteristics (such as gender, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation). The organization then determines the best based on employee responses to inclusion-related Trust Index statements.

In 2019, Jobber was named a “Best Workplaces in Alberta”, “Best Workplaces for Millennials”, and “Best Workplaces in Technology” by Great Place to Work.
